What is SEO⁉️ let’s talk about this topic that we’re hearing more and more about in most areas of our marketing... and not just our website
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation and is a strategy that you would initially apply to a business website to ensure that you’re telling Google exactly what your page is about, so it can serve the exact people who are searching for the things that you do!
After all, Google is just a piece of technology that needs assistance in understanding what your biz is about.
But more recently we’re hearing that SEO strategies are needed to assist other online platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Etsy and even TikTok so that it can too serve its users with your content.
👉🏻 SEO basically means making sure your biz appears on the first page of their search results page! So it’s pretty important if you’re looking to target new customers

How to apply this strategy to your pages ⁉️
It all starts with doing research on the keywords that your audience are searching for
The easiest way to do keyword research is by using your platform’s search bar to see what recommendations appear when typing in your biz offerings... assuming that whatever appears first here is what is being searched for the most!
Then applying those keywords on various places the marketing platform - these areas can be:
💥 Website pages and website images
💥 Social media bio
💥 Social media post captions
... pretty much any text opportunity you have is a great chance for you to use your keywords.
So I’d say it’s quite an important piece to your online marketing strategy!
Alternatively, you can ignore SEO and just hope that the online algorithm can guess what you’re about.
... but I think you’ll be wanting quicker results than that!
